Vice President Kamala Harris spoke about Artificial Intelligence on Wednesday with a massive "word salad" for viewers. She has officially taken the throne, from Biden, as the worst speaker.

Harris shared the comments about AI to a group of labor and civil rights leaders in Washington, D.C., to address the growing topic.

The comments

"I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing," Harris said during the roundtable. "First of all, it's two letters. It means artificial intelligence, but ultimately what it is, is it's about machine learning.

"And so, the machine is taught — and part of the issue here is what information is going into the machine that will then determine — and we can predict then, if we think about what information is going in, what then will be produced in terms of decisions and opinions that may be made through that process."

There's more

“So to reduce it down to its most simple point, this is part of the issue that we have here is thinking about what is going into a decision, and then whether that decision is actually legitimate and reflective of the needs and the life experiences of all the people,” she said.

The comments build on a growing collection of odd statements by the vice president during her time in office.

Users respond

“Kamala’s learning algorithm needs an upgrade,” one user wrote, according to Todd Starnes.

“Every time she explains something it’s like a student giving a book report,” another person said.

“Who thought having her explain AI was a winning strategy?” someone else added.

The comments also continue to add to concerns about President Joe Biden serving another term in the White House. At 80 years old, he would be 86 at the end of a second term, with Harris leading the nation if he experiences health issues that would stop him from completing his term.

The performance made for good laughs for many but reveal serious concerns about the future of the nation as voters look ahead to the 2024 election.
