Melania Trump suggests the truth about assassination attempt is being covered up
Melania Trump released a shocking video suggesting there is a coverup of "the truth" about her husband's assassination attempt.
In a brief video, the Former First Lady said there is "more to the story" of the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Melania's HUGE confession
In a video promoting her new memoir Melania, Trump's wife questioned why police did not arrest the shooter before her husband's speech.
"The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible, distressing experience,” Melania said. “Now, the silence around it feels heavy. I can’t help but wonder, why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech? There is definitely more to the story, and we need to uncover the truth.”
Many have questioned how the gunman was able to get so close to killing President Trump, who cheated death by turning his head just in time.
The shooter was flagged as suspicious by law enforcement, but the Secret Service failed to convey those reports to Trump's security detail before he got on stage. The Secret Service also left a rooftop wide open, allowing the gunman to shoot at President Trump from 130 yards.
After the shooting attempt in July, Melania shared a poignant letter condemning the shooting and the "monster" responsible.
Trump asking questions
Almost two months after the assassination attempt, the FBI still has not painted a clear picture of the shooter's motivations, describing him as a lone wolf with a mix of ideologies.
The FBI faced scrutiny after its director, Christopher Wray, stoked conspiracy theories that Trump wasn't actually shot with a bullet. The agency later confirmed that Trump was shot after he publicly criticized Wray.
On a recent podcast interview, Trump said he is starting to ask questions about what happened, citing Wray's bizarre claim about the bullet.
“There’s so many things going on here, that you do have to wonder,” Trump told the Monica Crowly podcast recently. “I wasn’t thinking this way three weeks ago, but the more you see it, the more you start to say there could be something else and that’s really dangerous for the country.”
It's not surprising that Melania has her own doubts about the assassination attempt. She has seen the horrible way her husband has been treated by the media and the Deep State. What's new, however, is that she's sharing these views with the public for the first time.
