Obama-linked activist accuses Trump of sexual assault
A woman with links to ex-President Barack Obama is claiming that former President Donald Trump touched her inappropriately.
Trump, however, is vehemently denying the allegation, claiming this is the latest “election interference” attempt by the Democrats, considering that the allegation comes just two weeks before the 2024 presidential election.
Breitbart News reports that ex-model Stacey Williams, who has ties not only to Obama but also to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, made the claims this past week.
The Trump campaign immediately smacked them down.
The allegation
It is the far-left Guardian that published William's allegations against Trump. The outlet did so in a piece, titled, Donald Trump groped me in what felt like a "twisted game" with Jeffrey Epstein, former model alleges.
Before going further, Williams is linked to Obama through the group Clean Tech for Obama. And, Williams is linked to Epstein in that she used to date him. Williams claims that she did not know about Epstein's dark side.
Williams alleges that Trump inappropriately touched her in 1993 at Trump Tower. She claims the incident occurred about a year after Epstein introduced her to Trump.
The Guardian reports:
She said he put his hands “all over my breasts” as well as her waist and her buttocks. She said she froze because she was “deeply confused” about what was happening. At the same time, she said she believed she saw the two men smiling at each other.
The allegations go on and on.
Trump responds
As we all know, Trump has faced a lot of allegations ever since, in 2016, he decided to venture into the world of politics. He is no stranger to such allegations, and he is no stranger to fighting them.
This is exactly what he and his campaign are doing here. They are vehemently denying was Williams has alleged.
Breitbart News reports:
Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt wholly blasted these claims, noting that the accusations were made by someone who is “a former activist for Barack Obama,” noting that these accusations were also “announced on a Harris campaign call two weeks before the election.” She said they are “unequivocally false.”
One does have to question why it is that Williams would wait until two weeks before the 2024 presidential election to come out with these claims, for an incident that allegedly occurred decades ago.
If the incident really did happen, the timing of the allegation only hurts Williams's credibility.
