Report claims Secret Service knows the culprit behind White House drug scandal

For over a week, America waited to learn what the Secret Service would conclude in its report regarding the cocaine found in the White House earlier this month.

In its final report, the law enforcement agency said it couldn't identify any culprits and said the bag, which underwent various tests at the lab, did not contain fingerprints. A report from a source at Soldier of Fortune said that the Secret Service does, in fact, know who was behind the incident.

According to Breitbart, which clarified that the Soldier of Fortune report was unverified at the time of this writing, the bag underwent a second test for fingerprints by the FBI that revealed a "hit" on a culprit.

The magazine said that the person responsible has been identified, but would not publish the name until it received official confirmation.

Contradicting reports

The Secret Service clearly stated in its statement on the investigation that no "discernable" fingerprints were discovered on the bag after testing.

Breitbart noted:

The report conflicted with a statement put out by the Secret Service on Thursday, which claimed that the FBI did not “develop latent fingerprints” and that “insufficient DNA was present.”

The Secret Service's statement read, "On July 12, the Secret Service received the FBI’s laboratory results, which did not develop latent fingerprints and insufficient DNA was present for investigative comparisons. Therefore, the Secret Service is not able to compare evidence against the known pool of individuals. The FBl’s evaluation of the substance also confirmed that it was cocaine."

It concluded that because of the test results and its inability to narrow down a subject from hundreds who were caught on surveillance footage, that a suspect would not be identified.

"Without physical evidence, the investigation will not be able to single out a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was discovered. At this time, the Secret Service’s investigation is closed due to a lack of physical evidence," the statement said.

The cocaine scandal has been a major PR headache for President Joe Biden's White House, especially since it was found in what should be the most secure building in the nation, if not world.

Not so fast

The source for Soldier of Fortune made clear that the suspect behind the cocaine baggie is known, given its claim that the FBI was able to pull prints, which is still unverified.

"We know who handled it… We’ve known since last week," the source reportedly said.

Breitbart reached out to the Secret Service for a statement on the claim, and the agency spokesperson denied the new report, calling it "absolutely not true."

"This is absolutely not true. The FBI independent from the Secret Service tested the packaging of the cocaine and there were no discernible fingerprints or DNA found on the baggie, the packaging," the spokesperson said.
