The Secret Service allegedly called Kai Cenat to work with Harris
The upset to the 2024 presidential election has yet to equalize, and the nation is still in turmoil seeing one of the major political parties running a candidate that no one actually voted for.
Vice President Kamala Harris taking over President Joe Biden's campaign is uncharted territory, but so are many things about the election cycle, including the influence of online sensations on the political scene.
A number of influencers have claimed that the Harris campaign, which could use a boost to get past the ever-popular former President Donald Trump, has been reaching out to those with significant followings to try to bring them into the fold.
According to his own report, this was the case with streaming sensation Kai Cenat who is now claiming that the Secret Service has been repeatedly reaching out to him for an apparent collaboration with Vice President Kamala Harris, as The Washington Examiner reported.
The Contact
Cenat's live reaction to the Secret Service's alleged attempts to contact him went viral just one day after former President Donald Trump joined Adin Ross's broadcast, which had garnered over 1.5 million views on YouTube.
“I’ve got the f***ing Secret Service calling me five times n****,” a screaming Cenat said. “I don’t know goddamn s*** about politics, my n****. I don’t know nothing.”
Despite the fact that Cenat did not commit to conducting an interview with Harris, the streamer stated that if he did have an interview with her, he would not hesitate to question the Democratic contender for president, about "Why did you guys call me?"
He said during the same broadcast that blogs have consistently pushed him to collaborate with Harris, saying, “We gotta do this s***.” However, he was clear that he has no involvement in politics.
Confirmation
Journalists have been working to find confirmation about the events reported by the well-known streamer.
However, as of the Examiner's publishing, they were unable to reach Cenat, Harris, or the Secret Service.
The multiplicity of reports from a number of non-political figures with online followings, however, is likely to lend credibility to the claims.
Online Presence
During his roughly 80-minute meeting with Ross on Monday, Trump was presented with a customized Tesla Cybertruck and a Rolex. The live was viewed by 500,000 individuals at one point during the stream.
The 23-year-old streamer argued to first-time voters the reasons why the former president should be the next president.
The Harris campaign has prioritized its online presence in the wake of President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 race. This includes hosting two recent Zoom fundraisers for white men and white women who endorse her, as well as incorporating TikTok videos and memes.
Recent surveys indicate that Harris is outperforming Biden among the youth, who was experiencing difficulties.
